This week has seen natural disasters devastate communities in the Philippines, Samoa and Indonesia. UnitingWorld has developed a prayer resource for use in congregations and calls upon Uniting Church services to set aside a special time for prayer this Sunday. Our hearts go out to these island peoples in their grief, suffering, chaos and fear. May God strengthen them as they try to cope with these disasters and may the international community do all they can to assist and provide resources.
