Champion global justice in your federal electorate

The 2010 Federal Election is your opportunity to participate in creating the world we want to see – a world where wealthy nations engage generously in the fair distribution of wealth and all people have access basic needs and human rights.

Make Poverty History electoral forums are happening almost every day throughout Australia as the federal election draws closer.Forums are an opportunity for you to be a catalyst for debate and change in your local community on the issues of global poverty, adapting to climate change and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

Our Christian faith is concerned integrally with serving people who are poor, removing the barriers that create a cycle of poverty and supporting them in building sustainable and meaningful communities. By engaging your community on a local level, you can help to ensure justice is achieved.

You can take action right now to ensure to ask this question.
