2.    Set your Date(s)

You can combine the stall with end of year events such as carols and/or services in the lead up to Christmas. If you get low on stock of cards after one event or service just contact us and we will express post you some extra stock.

Contact Stephanie via stephanied@unitingworld.org.au or call 02 8267 4232

4.    Promote the Gift Stall day(s)

Talking about the coming gift stall beforehand gives members of the congregation or the local community time to come prepared to place their orders.

5.    Set up your Gift Stall

i.  Set up the posters at the rear of your table or on a wall.

ii. Place a fabric over the table.  A fabric from Asia or the Pacific would be ideal.

iii. After using sticky tape to set your price point card, set them up with $10 gifts on the left, $35 and under gifts in the middle and $50 and under gifts on the right.

iv. Lay out the cards at the corresponding price point.

v. Have the coupons and pens on the table.

vii. Place a few Everything in Common catalogues on the table for those wanting the full array of gift options to order separately.

6.     Review the order process

On the donation coupon you will see the process for those wishing to purchase gifts.

Purchasers:

a. Choose their gift from the range of cards;

b. Complete the donation coupon by:
    Filling in their gift choices on the table on the front;
    Completing their payment details on the reverse side. Preferred payment is made via cheque, Visa and MasterCard;
    Completing their address details for all purchases;
    Handing the coupon to you as coordinator. Please check the details are complete.

c. They now take their gift card(s) and envelope(s).

d. When complete, place the coupon(s) in the Reply Paid Envelope provided and return to UnitingWorld so we can receipt the donations and direct the gift to the project requested.

Promoting your Everything in Common gift stall...

In the church or school newsletter or via email (remember to change the date and location as needed!)

A gift catalogue with a difference!

Everything in Common is the Uniting Church in Australia’s very own gift catalogue.  It’s a practical way for us to express our connection with our church partners in Asia, Africa and the Pacific, and to support those in our world living in poverty.

Every gift in the Catalogue directly supports the life-giving work of our partners overseas.  It’s all about following in the steps of Jesus, who modelled an alternative community based on simplicity, generosity and inclusion.

On Sunday/s _ & _ we will be hosting a Gift Stall in the foyer where you can purchase unique gifts like chickens for a farmer in Bali to breed, clothing for an orphaned child in North Korea and conflict resolution training for youth leaders in Zimbabwe.

There’s something for everyone, with gifts ranging between $10 and $50.

Note: Visa, MasterCard or cheque only
