Many Uniting Church schools and school communities are deeply motivated to act against injustice and help alleviate poverty around the world.

Our aim is to help your school achieve this and for your students to become young advocates for effective global development.

Our Schools Engagement Kit is available for you to download. This booklet is designed to stimulate and encourage creative ideas for secondary school students to take action against global poverty by raising funds for life giving community development projects.

We also host an annual conference on Youth Poverty and Development across Australia and would be happy to provide resources, ideas, presentations and guest speakers for your school’s Social Justice Days and other events.

Cover_ImageThe OneWorld WonTok Village Simulation is a fast paced, hands-on activity for school students or youth groups to discover what it would be like to live in a remote village in Papua New Guinea.

Faced with everything from cholera outbreaks to corrupt local officials, participants will need to work together to make decisions about how they will manage challenges and opportunities for growth.
