We want to involve you in the work we undertake with our partners around the world. Our day to day work proves that through partnership and friendship great things can be achieved.
We have seen communities transformed, lives turned around and enormous challenges overcome. From small beginnings great things can and do happen. We want you to be a part of that.
It can be as simple as learning more about world issues, sharing your money or time or expertise, writing a letter to make your views known or adding your voice to a loud chorus for justice and equality.

The Schools Engagement Program of UnitingWorld connects Uniting Church Schools in Australia with our Relief and Development projects.
We aim to establish mutually beneficial relationships between UnitingWord, Uniting Church schools, Partner Churches and the local communities and projects.
Experience Volunteers & InSolidarity Teams
UnitingWorld’s Experience volunteer programs bring the partner church relationship to life.
Each year we offer over 100 volunteer Experience Placements with our Partner Churches throughout Africa, Asia and the Pacific. The placements aim to strengthen links between our partner Churches and transform the lives of those trapped in poverty – for life.
While we are eligible to apply for some funding from the Australian government for some of our development and peacemaking programs, we rely mostly on the generosity of our supporters in order to carry out our vital work.
There are several ways to support our work financially, including donating to a current appeal, pledge giving or even volunteering some of your time to help us in our busy office with day-to-day tasks.
The UnitingWorld office is based in Sydney, Australia. UnitingWorld staff have opportunities to be part of a strong and committed team as we connect communities for life, both here in Australia and with our Uniting Church global partners.
UnitingWorld staff have strong people skills and a passion for global mission, relief and development, whilst also embracing a focused approach to day to day tasks.
