Congregational Christian Church of Niue

The Congregational Christian Church of Niue is the largest religious denomination in Niue, where 75% of the population Congregational Christian Church members. The church was founded by missionaries from the London Missionary Society. The church was founded in 1970.

The educational sector of the church provides bible study classes to the only two government schools in the region, as well as providing Sunday schools to the congregation. The main church activities are the training of the laity, the ministry of the youth, and the boys and girls brigade.

The women’s fellowship, the Federation of Christian Women, consists of women from different denominations and is also made up of female members from each congregation. The Congregational Christian Church of Niue is a member of the Pacific Conference of Churches and the World Council of Churches.
