Programs
UnitingWorld connects communities for life through our four program areas, Relief and Development, Peacemaking, Church Solidarity and Experience programs.
Follow the links below to find out more about our programs and the projects in each program area.
Church Solidarity
Our Church Solidarity programs are brought about together with our partner churches. These programs are grounded in our Christian faith and support ministry and communities.
The partner-church relationship is integral to the work of UnitingWorld and at the heart of every thing we do.

Experience
UnitingWorld’s Experience volunteer programs bring the partner church relationship to life.
Each year we offer over 100 volunteer Experience Placements with our Partner Churches throughout Africa, Asia and the Pacific. The placements aim to strengthen links between our partner Churches and transform the lives of those trapped in poverty – for life.

Peacemaking
Our Peacemaking programs are run through Young Ambassadors for Peace (YAP) a program established by Joy Balazo, UnitingWorld’s Associate Director for Peacemaking.
These programs strive to build a culture of peace and justice in communities in need of conflict resolution.YAP empowers people to create peace, resolve conflict and build friendships across barriers of tension and violence, paving the way for much needed development.
