The Free Wesleyan Church has been seeking to find more effective tactics to communicate the Gospel and undertake Christian Education. To supplement the range of print materials produced the church has seen the opportunity to move into television and media.

The Christian Education Department of Tonga has the opportunity to continue, with our support, to produce half-hour televison programs for broadcast on national television.

In this project, the CED will definitely enhance its arms to reach out more regularly and effectively to all people especially to outer islands and overseas countries.

The Department is desperate to develop this modern way of communication:
•    To facilitate the resources for use and sharing among Congregations and others
•    To prepare and produce programs for all ages in their various ministries
•    To communicate more effectively in quicker and broader ways (electronically)
•    To employ more young people who are already being trained in this area
•    To explore God’s electronic plan for the new century
