The Tangintebu Theological College is the only facility in Kiribati that provides training for future pastors. The college suffers from limited resources, and due to the geographical location of Kiribati, it is expensive to train pastors overseas.

Leslene has been working with the Tangintebu Theological College to set up their library. She has previously served as a volunteer in Bali, then as an English Teacher and Librarian at Nadu Theological Seminary in South India. In addition to her background in Journalism, Law and Librarianship, Leslene’s skills have gone a long way to improving the future theological education in Kiribati.
