Thomas and Jennifer: North Korea
The city of Rasun is located on the northern peninsula of North Korea and lies in the Kwankik Region.
Free healthcare and medical treatment exist in North Korea, although the health system has been in delcine since the 1990s as a result of natural disasters, economic problems, and food and energy shortages. Many hospitals and clinics lack vital medicine, equipment, water and electricity. Infectious diseases such as Tuberculosis (TB), Malaria, and Hepatitis B are thought to be rife.
Thomas and Jennifer have committed themselves to supporting the great work that is happening in projects in Rasun, North Korea. They are continuing to work on a number of projects besigned to build the capacity of the local community, particularly focusing on orphans. Projects include a children’s home, computer school (pictured), TB hospital, nurses school, and a mobile clinic.
Thomas and Jennifer need your support. They cannot do this important work if they are not supported prayerfully and financially.
