Myong is serving as Cross-Cultural Ministry Consultant in Korea under the Experience Programs of UnitingWorld.

With a strong background in cross-cultural ministry, Myong is committed to strengthening the partnership between the Uniting Church in Australia and the Presbyterian Church of Korea.

Myong has a family with two sons. His family enjoys living and working in Australia and loves occasional trips to Korea to connect with relatives and friends.

Myong has been a minister at the Uniting Church for more than twenty years now and he has just completed ten years of work as Cross-Cultural Consultant at the Board of Mission, within the NSW Synod.

Myong has also written a number of bi-lingual books including ‘Crossing Borders: Shaping Faith, Ministry and Identity in Multicultural Australia’ and ‘Australian & Korea: 120 Years of History’. Myong has a real love for water and likes to likes to swim, snorkel, fish, ice-skate and ski.
