The Relief and Development Unit of UnitingWorld supports community development and capacity building by working in genuine partnership with communities in Asia, Africa and the Pacific.
Program areas include water & sanitation, education & vocational training, economic empowerment & livelihood, health & nutrition, emergency relief and development education.
UnitingWorld is fully accredited with AusAID, the Australian government agency for international development. It is also a member of the Australian Council for International Development and a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct. This ensures that we meet the highest standards in financial reporting, transparency, management and ethical practice.
UnitingWorld Relief and Development is a member of actalliance, a global coalition of relief and development agencies working in relief and development in over 140 countries.
Donations of $2 and over to Relief and Development programs are tax deductible.
