Zimbabwe Food Relief
Sophia Chiparu is an elderly lady living in a rural village in Buhera District, Zimbabwe. Like many rural villagers she has a small mud and straw home but little else. She recently received emergency food supplies funded by UnitingWorld. Sophia strained to collect every last grain of corn which had fallen to the ground, knowing the value of even the smallest amount of food in a time of scarcity.
In response to the need of people like Sophia, UnitingWorld has launched an Emergency Food Relief appeal to distribute food supplies to affected communities in Buhera. Click here to read more
