Typhoon Ketsana, Philippines Appeal

On Saturday, 26th September, Typhoon Ketsana brought the equivalent of one month’s rain in just 12 hours, causing the worst flooding in the Philippines in more than 40 years. Samoan Tsunami

The Samoan islands and its nearby Pacific neighbours are currently dealing with the aftermath of a powerful 8.3-magnitude earthquake and consequent tsunami waves which hit the coast of Samoa this morning. Tropical Storm Ketsana

Zimbabwe Food Relief Appeal

As issues of food security worsen in Zimbabwe, UnitingWorld has launched a Food Relief Appeal for the people of rural Zimbabwe. This appeal follows an initial $25,000 commitment from UnitingWorld which saw 875 families in Buhera receive emergency food supplies.
