HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Register

Knowing the number of participants is vital to the effectiveness of this action

We will send you updates with more details closer to the date regarding UCA presence at events

Sign up if you support the climate strike, even if you are unable to participate on the day.

2.

Spread the word

Share on social media and invite your friends, family and congregation to join you.

3.

Display a UCA logo!

Print out a big Uniting Church logo to carry – or add it to your own placard or banner with your climate action message.

This is important for future lobbying efforts. We need to stand up AND be counted.

4.

Show Solidarity

Wear a brightly coloured ‘Pasifika’ style shirt to show your solidarity with our fragile Pacific Island neighbours,
and/or
an Akubra to show solidarity with the drought-stricken Australian bush.
Or if you already have a UCA shirt for your action, wear  that!

5.

Show up

Show up at your local climate action on 20 September, find other UCA folks with bright shirts/hats/UCA placards and march together!
