Help our partners respond to COVID-19
and save lives in South Sudan

COVID-19 couldn’t have come at a worse time for South Sudan.

With a fragile government finally coming together after a seven-year civil war that killed nearly 400,000 people and decimated the country’s infrastructure, the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated food insecurity, disrupted the economy and further entrenched poverty across the country.

Hundreds of people were killed and women and children captured during recent outbreaks of intercommunal conflict, which is being fueled by a local leadership vacuum and ongoing resource disputes (read more). COVID-19 is expected to further antagonize intercommunal relations.

Our partner the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan (PCOSS) is providing vulnerable communities with awareness about COVID-19, food and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) items and delivering psychosocial support. They are also continuing their critical peacebuilding activities. Your donation will allow us to support them throughout this crisis and beyond.  Please give generously.

Thank you.

Note: As the existing project is supporting church leadership and peacebuilding, donations to support the COVID-19 response are not tax-deductible.
